UNCERTAIN GERMANIC TRIBES, Pseudo-Imperial coinage. Early 3rd to mid 4th centuries. Denarius (Silver, 17 mm, 2.79 g, 11 h), Taman Peninsula. Stage 1, imitating Hadrian (117-138). IИΛИIVS [...]NИN Laureate head of Hadrian to right. Rev. LΛИI[...]VSIIΛD Felicitas standing front, head to left, holding caduceus (?) in her right hand and cornucopiae in her left. Sergeev -, cf. 280 ff. For prototype, cf. RIC 83. Beautifully toned. Two flan cracks, otherwise, very fine.
